What did you do / are you doing for Halloween? Which costume idea using spandex?

Where I live, summer can be too hot, and winter too cold. But fall — about one month of it — is perfect weather where I can wear anything, from a simple pair of shorts to a full skinsuit.

I’m in the middle of a very busy two weeks (or more) so new blog posts will be kind of sparse. Yes, this involves going to the new job while wrapping up things at the old one. Also, while honing my skills in the last few months, I’ve also left things at home in quite the mess, which means just that much more time spent catching up on housekeeping.

No time for a picture today, but soon I hope.

Another excuse for not posting daily — I was getting myself a new job! Of course, my first thoughts about any job are: (1) can I ride my bike to work, and (2) will they let me wear spandex?

I will miss all the spandex I’ve gotten to see and touch in my current job.

I’m going back to Austin for Labor Day weekend. I’m wondering if any peeps want to meet for face time while I’m there. My real motive, actually, is finding someone who would like to put up with me Monday evening, because I’ll be leaving on Tuesday morning.

I noticed that one of my favorite blogs, LA Lycra, just suddenly disappeared. I’ve noticed that quite a few blogs hosted on Blogger have suddenly disappeared over the years, probably not the intent of the authors.

For a better blogging experience, I highly recommend WordPress. I host the free software on my own shared hosting provider. If you don’t want to deal with that, then try WordPress.com, which like Blogger, is a free hosting service with a lot of nice features.
