I noticed that one of my favorite blogs, LA Lycra, just suddenly disappeared. I’ve noticed that quite a few blogs hosted on Blogger have suddenly disappeared over the years, probably not the intent of the authors.

For a better blogging experience, I highly recommend WordPress. I host the free software on my own shared hosting provider. If you don’t want to deal with that, then try WordPress.com, which like Blogger, is a free hosting service with a lot of nice features.

  1. Dang… I didn’t know LA Lycra bit the dust. I assume you know about http://googlebloggerclosesgayblogs.blogspot.com, where they list all the blog that are closing.

My own blog had “escaped” the first wave of closings. I got caught up in the second round of closings, where a lot of blogs got closed, but it was easier to reopen them.

There now seems to be a yet third wave of closures. Many that have closed has seemed not to return, so this probably doesn’t bode well. But let’s hope it reappears. I sometimes chat with the owner of LA Lycra, so if I hear anything from him, I’ll post.

It really makes no sense as to why that one would be closed… I don’t think he every really had any nudity or true “adult” content, did he?
